I hadn’t heard of the term ‘Steampunk’ before this amazing Nestldown wedding, but with the help of Wikipedia I can best describe it as a fantasy world inspired by punk, scientific romance, and 19th century Victorian England, (when steam power was widely used.) The entire event was inspired by the Steampunk aesthetic, and I’ve never witnessed a more uniquely beautiful, and atmospheric wedding in my life.

Plan Decor was given the challenge of creating floral designs that break all the rules and convey the Victorian punk elegance that Steampunk is known for. Karen and Kirsten worked their magic, and transformed Nestldown into a Steampunk world that welcomed the stilt walkers, fire dancers, musicians and the entire steampunk wedding party. I had so much fun photographing these details.
