Our portrait and engagement sessions are designed to capture your special moments in a way that reflects your unique story. Sessions range from $700 to $5,000, depending on factors such as time, distance, and the number of high-resolution files. Please inquire for a detailed breakdown of options and pricing.

We love our mirrorless Canon R5s like we love our own children. Add all of the pro RF & L series lenses that we use to that feat of photographic engineering, and you get consistently sharp and beautiful images. We also bring along our Contax 645 medium format cameras with our 80mm & 45mm Zeiss lenses for anyone interested in having some film images captured too.

Carlie does all of the portrait and engagement sessions, and Gabe joins her for every wedding. For select weddings we’ll bring on a 3rd shooter/assistant too.
There is some major magic that happens in post production, and every single image gets some of that magic added to it. This process is something that really shouldn’t rushed, so that’s why it takes 4-6 weeks to see your images….but never longer!
This is pure personal preference, so go with your gut. I offer more than one look because everyone’s style is unique and I want to create images that suit your style and your wedding. I always love to see inspiration images and pinterest boards to get a sense of what you’re drawn to, and that input helps to inspire my own photography.
Only for prints ordered through the online gallery, but for photography services we prefer checks or direct deposits.
Anything that you feel confident and comfortable in, and anything that suits the location that we’re shooting in. We recommend avoiding anything too matchy-matchy, and fabrics that are so thin or transparent that they show undergarment lines. We always love layers, complimenting colors, mixing prints and solids, great accessories and having your hair and makeup professionally done that day. We recommend searching pinterest and the lookbooks of your favorite designers and stores for inspiration.
We’re based in Santa Cruz, California, but we love long distances and a window seat. If you’re planing a destination wedding please inquire about our travel fees.
